White Florida Beaches

Maybe you’ve stumbled across some white sand beach photos from Florida. If you’ve been to the Sunshine State chances are you’ve stayed at a beach that was not white. A majority of the state offers beaches that range from brown to gold. So how do you know which beaches in Florida are white? For the most part the white beaches are located on the Gulf Coast. That means avoid the East Coast of Florida and most of South Florida. Although the Gulf Coast is home to the white beaches, the purest white sand is located in the panhandle, or Northwest Florida. Starting in Pensacola Beach and stretching as far as Clearwater Beach you’ll find soft white sand and the most beautiful beaches in the country. Two additional popular destinations that offer the white sand beaches are Destin and Panama City. Being you’ve found this article on our vacation blog we suggest checking out Cheap Pensacola Hotels to plan your trip. Maybe you’ll want to work your way down the coast and visit each of these Florida Beach Cities one at a time!
